During his boxing career he accomplished numerous achievements, his greatest is when he fought in the quarter finals of the 2008 olympics and got ranked world number 5 in the 54kg weight class. Overall Khumiso has gone to the olympics three times, twice as a competitor and once as a coach. Khumiso also went on to become a 3 star AIBA coach and was voted the best coach at the Golden Gloves tournament in Serbia (2012) where two of his boxers won gold medals.
In 2011 Khumiso was appointed national senior boxing team head coach for Botswana and during his term he had achieved some milestones in that his team managed to bring home medals from regional, continental and global meets.
In 2012 he was appointed the chairman of the athlete’s commission for Botswana.
Khumiso earned a bachelors degree in physical education and sports at the International School of Physical Education and Sports in Havana Cuba. His major being coaching in boxing.
Laith Al Durrah
With more than 20 years of experience in the sport of Boxing Laith grew up in Toronto Canada where he
boxed at the amateur level as well as coached several fighters over the years both in Canada and the
Kingdom of Bahrain. Laith has been working and training our “Mulakem” scholars as well as Fight Night
squads and club members ranging from first time boxers to more advanced boxing students focusing on
old school boxing technique and drills combined with new method strength & conditioning to ensure
maximizing each athlete’s training approach.
In addition to his boxing experience Laith is a certified personal training coach as well as sports
nutritionist, offering a full solution to any and all fitness and boxing related needs catering to a wide
range of athletes from beginners all the way to experienced competitors.

Born in the UK and having grown up in Bahrain, Lloyd is a qualified Personal Trainer, Life Coach and Group Fitness Coach; with specialisms in Bodyweight Movement, Boxing for Fitness, Kettlebells and Strength Conditioning. He is further developing his skills to become a technical level boxing coach and NSCA qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Coming from a fitness management background Lloyd has much to offer to his clients through tried and tested coaching methodology, helping them to reach their goals. Encompassing movement progression and regression, mobility and flexibility, strength and endurance, his tailored programmes are focussed on bringing the best out in his clients. Lloyd works with a range of clients from ex-military personal, sport-specific competitors, corporates / executives, clients for rehabilitation and for individuals who simply want to keep fit, happy and healthy!
Alongside coaching a range of classes, Lloyd offers Personal Training and Private Group Training.

Shaun was born and raised in South Africa and moved to the UK to be a Royal Marine Commando. Shaun has worked internationally as a Personal trainer, training a wide variety of clients from all over the world, including the Captain of a Six Star Cruise ship, Doctor and Lead Nurse of a popular family cruise line, and an International Model. With a positive and charismatic attitude, Shaun loves helping clients achieve personal & lifetime goals. Shaun is currently involved in kids Gymnastic and Parkour, but has experience in several martial arts including Jujitsu, Kung Fu, Karate and Kickboxing. With a wealth of knowledge from field and track experience, Shaun knows how to help you reach your goals, whilst keeping you injury free and motivated. At LIFT, Shaun will be focused primarily on Olympic/Power Weightlifting.
